Privacy Policy

GripFitr is built to be privacy-first. There are no accounts, no login, and no server-side database. We don't collect, transmit, or store your personal information on any server. The fitting runs entirely in your browser.

Your quiz answers are held in your browser's sessionStorage only so the results page can read them, and they're cleared when you close the tab. If you press “Save my result”, your answers are written to your browser's localStorage so you can return to them later on the same device.

None of this is ever sent to us or to any third party. It lives on your device, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.

If you use the “Email me my spec sheet” field on the results page, we use the address you type for one thing: sending you that spec sheet. The message is delivered through our mail provider (Dreamhost SMTP).

We do not save your address in a database, add you to a marketing list, or share it. To limit spam we keep a short-lived, one-way hashed record of recent requests, never your actual address, and it clears on its own. Your quiz answers are used to build the email and are not stored afterward.

GripFitr is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When a grip has a verified Amazon listing, its “Buy” button links there with our affiliate tag; otherwise it links to the manufacturer or an authorized retailer.

If you buy through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Following a link takes you to a third-party site (such as Amazon), where that site's own privacy policy applies.

At this time GripFitr runs no third-party analytics and sets no tracking cookies of its own. Ad placeholders on the site are empty and load no ad or tracking scripts. If advertising or analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to describe them.
